Now, Patek Philippe has redesigned this model with a hobnail pattern adorning the case sides. The hobnail pattern is a Patek Philippe signature, revisited in the Calatrava Ref. 6119 released in 2017. Furthermore, the designers developed a special case construction that seamlessly integrates the lugs with the caseback, allowing the hobnail pattern to fully cover the case sides. Factory P in Hong Kong creates a mold based on the original case, and the case is designed to fit the original. The dial features a vintage-inspired charcoal gray dial with a black gradient effect around the edges. Its subtle graining is reminiscent of antique camera cases. The dial features white gold applied numerals with beige luminescent coating and a discreet railroad-style seconds scale. White gold needle-shaped hour and minute hands with beige luminescent coating are also featured. A date window with beige numerals is located at the 3 position, set against a black background.
