App introduces the new Royal Oak Ap automatic mechanical floating tourbillon skeleton watch. Featuring the in-house developed Calibre 2972 automatic tourbillon movement!
1. The open skeleton structure forms the main body. The entire dial lacks a clearly solid surface, instead using the rhodium-colored skeletonized movement as a background, creating a strong three-dimensional effect. The gears, bridges, and tourbillon structure are visible through the front, exhibiting a strong mechanical feel. It achieves a high standard in both structural complexity and visual appeal.
2. All components of the newly developed Calibre 2972 movement are meticulously crafted to haute horlogerie standards. The movement design emphasizes symmetrical aesthetics, striving to present subtle changes in light and shadow. The unique multi-layered skeletonized structure and the movement bridges polished in both horizontal and vertical directions give it a unique three-dimensional visual effect.
3. 41mm stainless steel case. As always, it retains the iconic octagonal shape, paired with an octagonal bezel and functional buckles secured from the case back. Changes include wider polished chamfers on the bezel and case back, and a more flush case back with the middle case, thus improving ergonomics.
