App introduces Audemars Piguet's latest tourbillon skeleton watch, the Code 11.59 series, Ref. 26600, featuring a complex, dynamic two-tone case. The new, signature double-curved crystal offers a unique visual experience!
Highlights 1. A quick glance fails to capture the Code 11.59's complexity and impressive craftsmanship. Its seemingly round case and slender bezel are in fact a multifaceted fusion of bold, juxtaposed architectural shapes. In homage to the brand's iconic Royal Oak bezel, the case middle is octagonal, with thick brushed edges and polished chamfers. The lugs also feature a brushed surface and polished bevels, creating a hollowed-out design. Connecting the bezel and caseback, the arched shape protects the case middle. The contrast between the case middle, bezel, lugs, and caseback emphasizes the delicate structure of the 41mm case.
Highlight 2: The dial is protected by an arched double-curved sapphire crystal mirror, which is higher than the bright polished bezel, and the skeletonized tourbillon movement is clearly visible. The customized Ap3830 movement is a multi-layer manual-winding tourbillon movement. The movement is arranged vertically, with the tourbillon at 6 o'clock and the barrel at 12 o'clock, which brings a pleasing symmetry to the skeleton. The elegantly curved bridges of the movement are in three different shades of gray, highlighting the depth and contrasting with the light gray barrel and gear train. The inner-grained nylon leather strap with calfskin lining is equipped with an Ap pin buckle.
