The Chanel J12 is made entirely of ceramic and stainless steel.
Chanel's ceramics are quite impressive. The white precision ceramic used in my watch is zirconium oxide reinforced with aluminum oxide. Its hardness is higher than black ceramic, reaching 9 times that of stainless steel, so the production cost is about 10% higher.
