Sophie's Angel: Under the night sky, the number 6 o'clock in the mother-of-pearl display window represents the hour. The numbers 0 to 60 on the right side of the dial represent the minutes, indicated by a fairy's magic wand. Thanks to the retrograde movement, the magic wand gradually slides from the number 0 to the number 60, then instantly jumps back to the number 0 to begin a new cycle. The watch is equipped with a custom-made Swiss quartz movement, featuring jumping hour and retrograde minute modules exclusively developed for Van Cleef & Arpels. Its exquisite design and innovative mechanical expression earned this timepiece the "Best Complicated Ladies' Watch" award at the 2018 Grand Prix d'Horlogerie de Geneva.
