Model 214270, size 39mm, is equipped with the caliber 3132 integrated movement, a low-end version from a small manufacturer. The movement has a calendar, but the labeling on the idle position is incorrect. Although this model is not new, and has been produced by various manufacturers before, none of them are particularly good, and some details are even completely off-brand. Although this model features an aperture plate and band, the craftsmanship is particularly challenging, especially the dial numerals, which require a regular shape, a proper polish, and the difficulty of applying the luminescent material. This also includes Rolex's unique Mercedes-Benz diving hand. The Explorer is arguably an advanced version of the Oyster Perpetual. But it doesn't have the ostentatiousness of a Submariner.
